And we have a former Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Skoda & Peugeot driver fromer JWRC star and BRC champ and now World RX driver Guy Wilks telling us about his experiences of Rallye Deutschland and his further outings in World Rallycross and what he see's different between rallying and rallycross right now.

Episode 3 Season 1 - 05.08.15

Absolute Rally podcast is back for very busy show with a very Welsh feel! Sadly no Ryan due to techy issues so Tony was home alone. This one was a very Welsh program!

Opening the show was Ben Taylor the MSA confirming the exciting news that Wales Rally GB would remain part of the FIA WRC calendar for the next 3 years. Then we was joined by the first lady of WRC coverage Becs Williams talking Rally Finland. Tom Cave joined us to talk about winning the DMACK Drive Fiesta event on Rally Finland and his plans for the rest of the year.

Steve Smith of JRM joined us to talk about the new Subaru NR4 car that the company have developed and their plans to bring a driver into the BRC with the program.

And finishing off the show we had a quick chat with JWRC contender Osian Pryce who is trying to raise budget for Rally Corsica.

Absolute Rally podcast is back a mega busy show for Tony and Ryan. This week we had Iain Campbell discussing the new British Rally Championship calendar. New Zealand Rally buff Garry Boyd talking the omission of the event off the WRC calendar. Both issues following from last weeks show.

Then we crossed to Rally Finland to hear what's going on in the M-Sport service park with Rich Millener. Plus Dan McKenna talks Rally Finland recce and the pressure of budget for JWRC.

So TotalRally has become Absolute Rally for the Wednesday night show which then becomes this podcast. This show had Tony and Ryan joined by 7 times Rally America Champion David Higgins, talking about the satisfaction of the win on the New England Forest Rally and beating rivals old and new to clinch a 5th title in a row. David also speaks of his desire to compete on his home WRC round again.

The baby faced co-driver Scott Martin join the boys to talk career, 87 WRC starts, WRC, ERC and air miles battles with other British co-drivers!

We also have former guest host Guy Wilks tell us about his outstanding World Rallycross debut and why the sport is his motorsport future despite his love for rallying. And finally another man who had a tough Rally Portugal in the JWRC section Daniel Mc Kenna who talks dust and road positions and the fight to try and get to the top of the sport.
