Episode 8 - SEASON 4 - 01.06.16

Jack and Tony open the show talking news, views and gossip from the world of rally. The boys are then joined by WRC2 regular and the man currently leading the MSA British Rally Championship Fredrik Ahlin. Fredrik tells the boys about his great relationship with his team boss Martin Wilkinson of CA1 Sport, what the BRC means to him, his family history in all forms of motorsport and his mental preparation for events and testing.

To finish this weeks show Ryan Champion finally turns up for 10 minutes to tell us all about the events over on Barbados and how running order has been decided on the main event this coming week.

This week Ryan, Tony and Jack are at the top of the show to discuss all the current news, views and rumors form the world of rallying. They discuss this weeks headlines and all the fallout of Rally Portugal.

Next up our man in the DDFT Gus Greensmith joins Tony and Jack to talk about his tough opening round of the championship on Rally Portugal and the positives the team can take from the weekend.

And finally friend of the show Hayden Paddon joins Tony and Ryan to talk his win on Rally Argentina, The Haka, Rally Portugal, physiological battles with Seb Ogier  and road positions!

Episode 6 - SEASON 4 - 18.05.16

This week Tony and Jack open the show going through the weekly headlines, news and rumors. Jack gives us his A.O.B about the JWRC

Mike Harris of MH Motorsport joins Tony for a catch up on the story of the teams huge Fiesta R2 program that s expanding as the weeks go by and the WRC aspirations the team has. Plus how the Dmack Drive Fiesta WRC runners like Osian Pryce and Dillon Van Way have been testing with the team in order to get ready for the opening round of the series on Rally Portugal this weekend.

Former codriver and now coach and media man Trevor Agnew joins Tony for a catch following on from the amazing live stream coverage of the Circuit of Ireland last month and the rumors that event director would like to roll the service to other events. Trevor also talks 'mind sets' of Hayden Paddon and Sebastien Ogier going into the power stage on Rally Argentina. And we preview the runners and riders of Rally Portugal.

Part timer Ryan champion joins Tony for his A.O.B on homologation.

Episode 5 - SEASON 4 - 10.05.16

This weeks podcast features as ever Tony, Jack and Ryan talking news and rumors at the top of the show. We cover the latest headlines and a round up form the last ERC round The Acropolis Rally.

Tony is then joined by the man behind the now well received blog and the man with the passion behind RALLY4WALES campaign Jamie Edwards. Jamie tells Tony all about the current debate with N.R.W and the MSA and what we can do to help.

Next up the Rally America series with one of the most successful codrivers in the history of the championship David Higgins right hand man Craig Drew. Craig tells Tony about the big fight this year with their team mate all American motorsport and X Games star Travis Pastrana.

Finally this week we get the director of Rally Barbados, Neil Barnard talks the Elfyn Evans deal and who he expects the runners and rides to be on this years event.   

Episode 4 - SEASON 4 - 04.05.16

Ryan,Tony and Jack are back this week to talk some serious issues that have firmly gripped the headlines in the UK this week. Forestry and "bogie" issues are talked through along with all the other headlines and rumors this week.

Gus Greensmith joins Tony to talk his second place in the junior category of the Pirelli Rally and all about his preparation for the opening round of the Drive Dmack Fiesta Trophy. Gus tells us about testing and his pacenote work with Alex Gelsomino. Gus is our man in the DDFT this season so we will be following his progress and getting updates throughout his busy season.

Xav McCartan joins Tony to talk through the latest round of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship, Rally of the Lakes - Killarney. Plus he briefly looks at how we are looking across the board in rallying this year.

And to finish the boys do there any other business!

Episode 3 - SEASON 4 - 27.04.16

Tony and Jack open the show this week talking the amazing result for friend of the show Hayden Paddon. They talk headlines, rumors and more.

Tony is then joined by Sam Tickell all the way from Australia, Sam covers the Australian, New Zealand and the APRC Rally Championship. The later of which opens this weekend with Rally Whangarei and the guys discuss this and the direction of the APRC.

Last but not least our man of mystery Ryan Champion finally shows up all the way from Dubai to advise Tony on how to get a result on the up coming next round of the British Rally Championship, the Pirelli Rally which Ryan may have won once... what could go wrong!  

Episode 2 - SEASON 4 - 22.04.16

Tony Simpson and Ryan Champion are as ever joined by Motorsport News national rallying editor Jack Benyon to talk news, views and headlines this week and Jack makes his debut with his first A.O.B (any other business) and its a cracker!

M-Sports Rich Millener joins Tony to talk logistics for long haul events, Rally Argentina preparation, R5 dominance and Henning Solbergs taxi rides and tooth paste!

To finish former Peugeot, Hyundai MSD and Mitsubishi driver Justin Dale, to talk "pocket rocket" Super 1600's , British Rally Champion, Middle East Championship with Prodrive support and much more.

And we announce our winners of the Dirt Rally give away!    

Episode 1 - SEASON 4

This weeks podcast starts with Jack, Ryan and Tony talking the epic event that was the Circuit of Ireland. Everything from battles to tyre wars the boys dissect the event from the point of view of ERC, ERC and TROA.

Circuit wining codriver Scott Martin joins Ryan and Tony to talk about how the deal came about, the unbelievable atmosphere and what's coming up next for Craig Breen and himself.

Friend of the show Paul Coleman the man behind DIRT rally from Codemasters join the boys to talk about the release for the game on console and the challenges that brings plus a brief insight into the future perhaps of the franchise. Plus Paul sets the question to win a "Legend Edition" of the DIRT game on PS4 or Xbox.

And junior ERC driver Chris Ingram chats with Tony after his 2nd place in ERC juniors with the Opel Motorsport team.

Episode 10 - SEASON 3 - 23.03.16

 

Our final episode of season 3 and the boys are joined now as ever by Jack Benyon of Motorsport News to talk this weeks headlines and stories.

Art McCarrick talks "Team Ireland Foundation" and what it means to young Irish race and rally drivers.

We always have a Hyundai story! This week Hyundai WRC codriver Seb Marshall joins Tony to talk his and Kevin Abbrings WRC outings, Testing , testing and more testing in the new Hyundai I20 R5 car and how both he and Kevin would love to take the new car to Rally Isle of Man!

The man who was at the forefront of WRC coverage in the late 90's and early 2000's Mark James joins both Tony and Ryan to discuss the new rules in WRC for 2017 and possible safety concerns. And also find out more about his version for the new TV coverage for the British Rally Championships which he is the producer of.
